In Tree Stories, Ashley Hay’s work responds to a primal instinct to return to nature, to answer the call of the wild and to explore how nature touches our heart; how it heals and replenishes our soul.
Intuitively, Ashley approaches her work with a spiritual ethos; responding to the call of soulful songs; of whispers in the wind; and by preparing herself body, mind and soul to share her personal stories. Her hope is that something of her story connects with your story (the viewer) in a way that enhances the meaning and resonance of the work.
